Tom Cleverley believes there will be ‘doubt’ in the Arsenal dressing room as we approach the business end of the campaign.
The Gunners remain firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title after an exceptional run of form recently.
Arsenal have picked up six consecutive wins and sit just five points behind league leaders Liverpool, albeit with a game in hand tonight at Sheffield United.
Mikel Arteta’s men are the most in-form side in the league at the moment, having netted 25 times during their winning streak.
Should they pick up a win as expected at Brammall Lane tonight, Arsenal will enter familiar territory after being in the mix at this point last year.
It was their form from April onwards that ultimately cost them the title and Tom Cleverley believes this will cause doubt among Arsenal’s players this time around.

Cleverley claims there are big doubts in the Arsenal dressing room
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Cleverley, who won the Premier League with Manchester United back in 2013, claimed there will be uncertainty in the Arsenal dressing room ahead of the run-in.
“I don’t care what anyone says, I think in the Arsenal dressing room they will still doubt themselves.
“They’ve not won anything yet. They were in this position last year and fell away, comfortably.
“Even though they are playing amazing stuff, the manager has done a fantastic job, like City with the Champions League, until they won it last year there was always that little bit of doubt.
“Arsenal, the squad will still have that. When it comes to crunch time and City and Liverpool have been there before, [they’ll think] are we at that level?”

Of course, there are bound to be emotional scars after what happened last season at Arsenal.
But whether or not that affects Arteta’s side during the business end of the campaign remains to be seen.
There seems to be a different feel about Arsenal this season as they have often found a way to win while not being at their best.
Arteta’s men face some key fixtures over the coming weeks as they travel to the Etihad Stadium, Tottenham and even Old Trafford. You’d imagine that these fixtures will give us a good indication of exactly where Arsenal are at mentally.
