The weekend’s FA Cup action gave us just four Premier League games to choose from this weekend, but the fixtures in question didn’t disappoint. Everton closed in on the top-six with a convincing 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park, and on the other side of Stanley Park just a day later, Liverpool kept up the pressure on the three teams above them after coming from behind to beat Burnley 2-1.
Nearer the bottom, Oumar Niasse’s double ensured that Hull won their six-pointer against fellow strugglers Swansea 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium to ease their relegation worries, and Bournemouth eventually came out on-top against West Ham 3-2 at the Vitality Stadium; Josh King’s hat-trick enough to earn all three points despite the Cherries missing two spot-kicks.
But who were the stars of the four games on offer this weekend that made it into The Boot Room’s Team of the Week for Match-Day 28?
