Despite dropping points after being held to a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor, Chelsea moved ten points clear at the top of the Premier League on Gameweek 25, after their closest rivals Tottenham succumbed to a 2-0 loss at Anfield against Liverpool, who are now one point outside the top-four.
A 2-0 home win over Hull saw Arsenal rise only as far as fourth, after Manchester City rose to second following their win at Bournemouth on Monday night.
Elsewhere, Paul Clement’s reign at Swansea saw more early success with a home win over stuttering Leicester, whilst Sunderland and Crystal Palace still remain in trouble following defeats to Southampton and Stoke respectively.
Manchester United comfortably saw off Watford at Old Trafford to remain in the top-six, whilst West Ham and West Brom played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at London Stadium. Middlesbrough and Everton was the only top-flight game over the weekend to finish goal-less.
