Premier League: Team of the Week XVII feat. Manchester United and Spurs stars
It was a record-equalling Premier League weekend for leaders Chelsea, who won their 11th straight game this season at Crystal Palace, whilst Manchester City moved up to second after coming from a goal down to beat Arsenal at the Etihad.
Another title chaser in Tottenham, came from behind to beat Burnley, whilst a Zlatan Ibrahimovic brace helped Manchester United win convincingly at West Brom. Southampton won their South Coast Derby at Bournemouth, West Ham won at home to Hull, and Sunderland earned a crucial home victory over Watford to ease their relegation worries.
Another struggling side, Middlesbrough, registered their biggest win of the season, with a 3-0 triumph over Swansea, and ten-man Leicester fought back from a two-goal deficit to earn a dramatic draw at Stoke.
Everton and Liverpool were the last in action as they played out the first Merseyside Derby of the season on Monday night at Goodison Park, and it was the Reds who took all the spoils, with Sadio Mané dealing the killer blow deep into stoppage time, moving Jurgen Klopp’s men up to second.
But who impressed more than others to make The Boot Room’s pick for Team of the Week this time round?
