Centre-Forward: Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United)

It’s been a tough few weeks for the Swede, who had gone six league games without scoring, but he ended his 609 minutes of torment at Swansea City with a great performance for the Red Devils, bagging a brace for his troubles.

Many had been calling for Jose Mourinho to drop the mercurial forward, but the Special One stuck to his guns and his faith in the forward, whose two goals repaid the belief his manager has in him. Zlatan is now firmly back amongst the reckoning and would’ve been a certain starter against Arsenal following the international break had he not picked up his fifth booking of the campaign at the Liberty Stadium to be ruled out through suspension.

Centre-Forward: Sam Vokes (Burnley)

It was another last gasp dramatic win for Burnley on Matchday XI, following up from their late winner over Everton two weeks ago to secure another last minute triumph at Turf Moor in a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace.

Sam Vokes was at the heart of the action once again, scoring one and assisting another as Sean Dyche’s side gave themselves a two-goal cushion.

Even though they threw away the lead before Ashley Barnes spared their blushes, the Welsh international’s display deserved the three points Burnley eventually salvaged. He made a nuisance of himself all afternoon and was a nightmare for the Palace defence to deal with, despite steering the attack on his own with regular strike partner Andre Gray confined to the bench.
