Reported Arsenal target Yves Bissouma has spoken of how much he has improved in the past season and how “much better” he could still become.
The 24-year-old is currently at Brighton, having joined the Premier League side from Lille in 2018 for a reported £15million fee.
Bissouma has been excellent for the south coast side this season, with 30 appearances in all competitions including 26 Premier League starts.

According to a football.london report from January, Arsenal made contact with Bissouma’s agent, Michael N’Cho, during the winter transfer window.
The report, citing a close friend of Bissouma’s, also claimed the player would choose Arsenal over any other Premier League club if they came in for him.
Despite having already done well, the Mali international believes there’s much more to come from him.
“I have much more to learn and know I can be much better,” he told The Brighton & Hove Independent.
“You make one mistake and you can be punished and lose a game. But I now know what the coach and the team wants me to do. As a result, I feel better than last season.
“I think I’m playing well and feel more comfortable playing in the division. Both my defensive and tactical side have improved compared to what it was before.”
TBR View:
Bissouma has certainly shown he’s a cut above at Brighton and surely it won’t be long before a leading club snaps him up.
That said, with a contract until 2023, the ball is very much in the Seagulls’ court regarding his future and how much they could want for him.
He’d certainly be worth it though, given he’s young and proven at Premier League and international level, not to mention having plenty of plaudits sent his way.
