‘Premier League ain’t ready’: Some Tottenham fans love what club have uploaded about summer signing

Tottenham uploaded a video of their summer signing Bryan Gil on Wednesday – and some of their fans on Twitter love that he’s now in North London.

Spurs completed the signing of Gil during this window from Sevilla in a £21million deal, with Erik Lamela heading in the opposite direction.

The 20-year-old attacker was important in La Liga last season for Sevilla, but is now set to play in England for the very first time.

He’s been busy this summer because he picked up a silver medal at the Olympics with his country Spain. However, he’s now arrived at Hotspur Way for the first time.

The Athletic reported the youngster was due to report for Spurs training today ahead of a potential debut this weekend. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side kickstart their Premier league season on Sunday at home to defending champions Manchester City.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media are over the moon that Gil is now in the building.

It would be a remarkably short turnaround if he plays a part this Sunday, but there is a lot of excitement over him.

He’s a talented left-footed wide player that can play on either wing. His dribbling, speed and directness is likely to make him a massive favourite.

It certainly feels like a new era for the club as they welcome new players.
