Tottenham Hotspur are looking to put the frustrations of last weekend behind them with a win over Burnley in the Premier League.

Spurs were 3-0 up and cruising against West Ham United last time out, but somehow threw their lead away allowing thr Irons to steal a point in north London.

Up next is a Burnley side who have only managed to take one point from their opening four games.

Sean Dyche’s side are yet to win in 2020/21, and they present a huge opportunity for Spurs to get back on track.

Jose Mourinho has two just players unavailable for selection in Japhet Tanganga and Eric Dier.

Hugo Lloris should start in goal after having the night off last Thursday, and he could be protected by a back four of Matt Doherty, Toby Alderweireld, Joe Rodon and Sergio Reguilon.

£65,000-a-week star Davinson Sanchez (Spotrac) has struggled in recent weeks and Mourinho may feel it’s time for fresh impetus and new signing Rodon’s (£15 million, BBC Sport) height may come in handy against the Clarets.

The Portuguese may also wish to recall Matt Doherty, with Serge Aurier having also made errors against West Ham.

In midfield, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will likely anchor the midfield, and it could be Tanguy Ndombele and Moussa Sissoko who are chosen to play just ahead of the Dane.

Giovani Lo Celso played on Thursday night after recently recovering from injury and may therefore be benched.

In attack, Steven Bergwijn could keep his place with Gareth Bale having started against LASK, with Heung-min Son on the left and Harry Kane through the middle.

A side that has two changes from the one that faced West Ham and hopefully for Spurs fans, one that would be able to get the job done in Lancashire.
