Jose Mourinho is expected to make numerous changes to his Tottenham Hotspur side when they take on Austrian side Wolfsberger in their first Europa League knockout game of the season – and Dele Alli is expected to start.
The Daily Telegraph has claimed that 24-year-old Alli, who has started just six matches all season, will be handed a chance from the off against Wolfsberger. The game is being played in Hungary, at the Puskas Arena.
It is the same ground that saw Liverpool beat Leipzig on Tuesday night. Mourinho is also expected to make changes elsewhere, with BBC Sport reporting that Joe Hart is likely to come in for under-fire Hugo Lloris on Thursday night.
Mourinho will be without Serge Aurier and Sergio Reguilon at full-back, while midfielder Gio Lo Celso continues to struggle with a thigh injury. Welsh defender Joe Rodon has been left out of the club’s Europa League squad.

But the majority of the substitutes against Manchester City are likely to come in. Matt Doherty, Toby Alderweireld, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius could join Hart and Alli in starting.
They would likely come in for Lloris, Japhet Tanganga, Eric Dier, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane. Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies and Son Heung-min might retain their place.
Indeed, Son conducted the pre-match interview after Mourinho and that is always a sign he could start.
