Spurs face the unenviable task of trying to see off Manchester City this weekend, as Jose Mourinho looks to get one over his old nemesis, Pep Guardiola.
Mourinho’s outfit come into the game in inconsistent form to say the least. A midweek goal-fest against Everton will have taken plenty out of Spurs, meaning changes could be afoot.
However, there’ll likely be no place for Gareth Bale in the XI or the squad for that matter. The week has been all about Bale and Mourinho’s relationship, with both sides giving their own sides to the story.

In defence, Mourinho will probably revert back to Eric Dier, while Toby Alderweireld may keep his place ahead of the inexperienced Joe Rodon. Ivorian, Serge Aurier, is also set to return.
Moussa Sissoko should return in midfield to add energy, while Harry Kane is nailed on to start up top. With that, then, here is our predicted XI for Spurs today against Manchester City, where we predict four changes from the midweek loss at Everton.
