Predicted Liverpool XI v Everton: Klopp makes one change, Henderson into midfield

Liverpool take on Everton this evening and coming up with a predicted XI for the clash is a bit more straightforward than in previous weeks.

A few injury problems mean Jurgen Klopp is without a few key members of his squad. Both James Milner and Fabinho could miss out, while long-term absentees Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk are still nowhere near.

However, despite a convincing win against Leipzig in midweek, Klopp could be tempted to make a slight change to proceedings.

That change could come in midfield, where, given it’s a Merseyside derby, the Liverpool boss could well push Jordan Henderson back into the midfield three for his energy and drive.

It’s likely, then, that one of Curtis Jones or Gini Wijnaldum will be taken out if that’s the case, although Jones has impressed lately. Nat Phillips is the most likely replacement for Henderson at centre-back, where Ozan Kabak will also keep his place.

Here, then, is our predicted Liverpool XI for the clash with Everton today.
