Liverpool begin 2021 with a testing trip to the south coast, with Southampton the opponents in the Premier League.
The Reds are looking to open up a three-point gap at the top of the table, with Manchester United now breathing down their neck after some fine recent form.
Jurgen Klopp will be desperate for his side to return to winning ways, having dropped points against Newcastle United and West Brom in the last two games.

Getting things back on track against Southampton, though, will not be easy with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side a fearsome opponent for anyone nowadays.
In goal Alisson will get the nod, and his back four is likely to be Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Rhys Williams and Andy Robertson.
With Joel Matip sidelined again, young Williams could come in as Fabinho’s partner, with Nat Phillips having struggled at times against Newcastle.
In midfield, £25 million signing Thiago (BBC Sport) could come in for a start having come on as a substitute against the Magpies after recovering from injury, and one would not look past the maestro coming into the side if he’s fully fit.

Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum, 30, would likely be his partners in the engine room.
The Dutchman started on the bench against Newcastle and one would imagine he’ll come back into the starting XI for this one.
And up top, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino will be looking to inflict some damage on the Saints having not quite been at it over the past couple of weeks.
