Liverpool travel to Chelsea this weekend for the first ‘big’ clash of the Premier League season, with the Reds buoyed by the signing of Thiago yesterday.
The Spanish midfielder completed a reported £20m (BBC) deal from Bayern Munich, adding depth and quality to a Liverpool midfield which already possessed enough of that in the first place.

Jurgen Klopp, then, has a number of selection headaches to contend with, given there is little in the way of injuries affecting the squad and a new signing in Thiago to fit into the XI.
But Klopp will make those calls. He also has to consider whether to make changes to the team that scraped by Leeds United. That night, Naby Keita, Gini Wijnaldum, and Jordan Henderson got the nod in midfield.
However, we think the Liverpool boss could change it all around in the middle, with Thiago set to be given an immediate debut.
