Leeds United will kick off their return to the Premier League this weekend with the toughest of assignments as they face Liverpool at Anfield.
It’s set to be a baptism of fire for the Whites as Marcelo Bielsa pits his wits against the Premier League’s best for the first time in his career.
However, the Leeds boss will go into the game full of confidence. He’s had a good summer backed by Victor Orta, with big-name signings such as Rodrigo Moreno and Robin Koch arriving, while Jack Harrison has penned another loan deal.
Bielsa, then, faces a few big decisions this weekend. One of the big calls will come at the top of the pitch, where the hard-working Patrick Bamford will hope to be given his chance by the Leeds boss.
At the opposite end, Robin Koch should come into the fold from the off given their loss of Ben White.
With that, here’s our look at Leeds’ predicted XI for their first-day clash with Liverpool this weekend.
