Predicted Everton XI v Newcastle: Gordon gets his chance, Nkounkou gets the nod

Everton travel to Newcastle United today looking to get back to winning ways following their defeat against Southampton last weekend.

The Toffees have enjoyed a fine start to the season but stuttered last week as Richarlison missed out and James Rodriguez was clearly carrying a knock.

Indeed, both those players will be missing this weekend, while regular left-back Lucas Digne will also miss out once again.

That should give Carlo Ancelotti the chance to bring in a few of his squad players who will be itching to make a big splash with those key names missing from proceedings.

The Toffees should, then, make a number of changes. Gylfi Sigurdsson should continue in the middle, while Anthony Gordon should get the chance to flourish in the front three.
