Predicted Everton XI at Sheffield Utd: Big changes, Bernard and Gordon both start

Everton take on Sheffield United this evening looking for four Premier League wins in a row against their winless opponents.

The Toffees make the trip to Yorkshire knowing they have a fine chance to maintain their winning run against a Blades side who haven’t even registered a Premier League win this season.

But, Carlo Ancelotti has a number of selection issues to contend with ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane. Midfielder, Allan, is missing, while Richarlison and James Rodriguez are also set to miss out.

Defensive problems are also an issue for Ancelotti. It could mean, then, that the likes of Niels Nkounkou gets a chance, while Jonjoe Kenny might well get a rare outing at right-back.

Finally, the Everton boss could also opt to rest players such as Alex Iwobi and Dom Calvert-Lewin, with a game against Man City to come.

With that, here’s how we see the Toffees lining up at Sheffield United today.
