Predicted Everton XI at Norwich: One change, Sigurdsson to return to line-up

Everton will travel to Norwich City tomorrow looking to build on what was a good display against Liverpool on their return to Premier League football.

The Toffees probably could and should have won the game against the Reds, with Alisson making a couple of good stops to make sure the game finished 0-0 at an empty Goodison Park.

A trip to Carrow Road provides a great chance for Carlo Ancelotti’s men to boost their European hopes. Norwich were comfortably beaten on their return to football, while Sheffield United are faltering in front of them in the table.

Indeed, a win could put Everton within three points of the Blades in seventh. Chris Wilder’s men, of course, face a tricky trip to Old Trafford themselves tomorrow.

But with Ancelotti confirming (Liverpool Echo) it’s likely to be the same 20 as against Liverpool, will there be any change to the actual XI?

We think there could be. With that, we are backing £45m signing, Gylfi Sigurdsson, to return to the fold in place of young Anthony Gordon.
