Arsenal will open their Premier League campaign this weekend with a tricky away trip to newly-promoted Fulham.
The Gunners will go into the game having won both the FA Cup and Community Shield in recent months and Mikel Arteta will be looking for a continuation of that sort of form into the new campaign.
It’s been a busy old summer, too, for the Arsenal boss. A number of new faces have arrived while contract talks remain ongoing for the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The big signing has been defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, although this weekend could come too soon for him. Former Chelsea midfielder Willian will be pushing for a start, while William Saliba could also come in following his return to The Emirates.
A big decision for the Gunners boss will be if he goes with his 3-4-3 formation or the 4-3-3 he is expected to press ahead with in the long-run. Furthermore, Mesut Ozil may also be a surprise inclusion.
With that, then, we’ve taken a look at what we believe will be Arsenal’s first XI for the 2020/21 campaign.
