Predicted Arsenal XI v Brighton: 2 changes, Odegaard and Xhaka start

Arsenal face Brighton today as they bring their season to a close ahead of another big summer of rebuilding for the Gunners.

Boss Mikel Arteta will want to see the back of this campaign. Although Arsenal can finish 7th, they’ve never threatened the top four all season and the loss in the Europa League semi-final was the sour cherry on top of this stodgy cake of a season.

However, a home game with Brighton does give the Gunners a chance to go out on a high. A last minute win over Crystal Palace will have left the team in good spirits, while the likes of David Luiz are also set to feature for the last time.

Further up the pitch, both Martin Odegaard and Granit Xhaka did well off the bench last week and could get starts. Up top, Arteta must decide whether to go with Aubameyang or Lacazette for the final fixture.

Here, then, is our predicted Arsenal XI to face Palace today, where we think Arteta makes two changes to his winning team.
