Predicted Arsenal XI v Aston Villa: Eddie Nketiah gets nod from Arteta, Saka starts

Arsenal host Aston Villa today looking to build on last weekend’s win at Man United and a midweek Europa League victory over Molde.

The Gunners will look to capitalise on Villa showing a bit of a wobble at the moment, with consecutive losses and goals being conceded with considerable ease it seems for Dean Smith’s men.

Mikel Arteta will likely make a number of changes once again. The XI in the Europa League is always heavily changed, so the likes of Partey, Aubameyang, and Gabriel will all likely be recalled.

Beyond that, Arteta has a few tough calls to make. Eddie Nketiah impressed in midweek, as did Joe Willock. Nicolas Pepe, too, was another one to put in a good performance.

However, it could just be minor changes to the win at Old Trafford, and we think Nketiah might well get the nod over £182k-a-week striker, Alexandre Lacazette in our predicted Arsenal XI at Villa today.
