‘Praying’, ‘make it happen’: Some Arsenal fans react to links with 21-year-old who’s faster than Aubameyang

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the report linking reported Gunners target Achraf Hakimi with a departure from Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old has impressed during his two-year loan at Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and is now thought to be one of the most highly sought-after full-backs in Europe.

As well as Arsenal, the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are said to be after him, while Dortmund reportedly want him permanently.

Although Zinedine Zidane is keen to keep Hakimi at the Bernabeu, the Daily Mail believes that he will not want to stay at the club if he is seen solely as a backup to Dani Carvajal.

This season, Hakimi has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund, scoring seven goals and claiming 10 assists.

Aside from being superb in attack and in defence, he is also officially the quickest player in Bundesliga history, making him faster than Arsenal speedster Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
