It is unlikely that Juventus will sell Paulo Dybala before the European window shuts, according to Calciomercato. And this potentially hands Tottenham Hotspur the initiative ahead of the January transfer window.
This report claims that Dybala’s potential move to Paris Saint-Germain hinges entirely on Neymar’s future. With the English window shut, this potentially rules out both PSG and Tottenham.

Dybala’s only route out of Juventus would be to Inter Milan. There has been some talk of a swap deal involving Mauro Icardi heading to Juventus but this is also unlikely. The two clubs do not like dealing with each other.
With options running out, the Argentina international is likely to stay at Juventus beyond the end of the season. He was an unused substitute against Parma at the weekend and his future remains in doubt but an exit is unlikely before the European deadline.
TBR’s view
The Eriksen saga and the Dybala situation are exhibits A and B in the case to abolish the early closure of the English transfer window. It works well in theory but English clubs are being held to ransom by European sides, who know they have an extra month after the Premier League window shuts.
Of course, a lot of things will happen between now and January – even if Dybala stays. Tottenham will need to prove their ambition to Dybala, remain in the Champions League and be fighting towards the top of the Premier League.
They need to be in a position which convinces Dybala to move to North London ahead of other European heavyweights. If they can pull this off, it could be an inspired signing.
