Celtic got off to a winning start under Ange Postecoglou as the Bhoys won their first pre-season friendly.
The Hoops kicked off their pre-season programme with a friendly against Sheffield Wednesday at their Dragon Park training base in Newport.
With Celtic’s full internationals still having a break, Postecoglou named a youthful side against the Owls.

The Bhoys fell behind early on as Josh Windass opened the scoring, but they levelled early in the second half-hour period.
Albian Ajeti, Celtic’s captain for the day, sent a low shot in at the near post to restore parity.
Owen Moffat, who had impressed during the first hour, then rifled into the far corner to make it 2-1.
And Odsonne Edouard, who came on as a substitute, rounded off the scoring with a neat effort in stoppage time.
One player who stood out in the first hour – and who Celtic fans want to see a lot more of – was Ismaila Soro, who impressed in midfield.
Here is what some Celtic supporters were saying on Twitter:
Soro, a £2.7million signing from Israeli side Bnei Yehuda in January last year, barely figured at Parkhead for much of Neil Lennon’s tenure.
The 23-year-old briefly broke into first-team contention earlier this year, which coincided with an upturn in form for the Hoops.
However, he returned to the fringes in wake of Lennon’s departure, being limited to a handful of substitute appearances under John Kennedy.

Now, with Postecoglou in charge and Scott Brown no longer at the club, Soro could (and should) finally become a fixture in Celtic’s starting XI.
Obviously today was just a pre-season friendly so you can’t read too much into it, but it was great to see Soro look sharp and on point.
And if Postecoglou does make him a starter as he deserves to be, Celtic fans will be absolutely buzzing.
