Fraser Forster has moved to clarify the terms of his loan agreement with Celtic, revealing there is no option to return to parent club Southampton.
The 31-year-old is on a season-long loan at Parkhead after falling behind Alex McCarthy and Angus Gunn at St. Mary’s Stadium.

There had been claims Forster could return to a struggling Saints side, but the 6ft 7in stopper has now spoken out.
He said (Daily Record): “I don’t think there’s a recall (option), so I think I’m here for the season from my side of things.
“I’m happy here and glad to be back here playing. I just want to do as well as I can so I think I’ll be here for the season.
“I’m only focusing on the short term really.

“So much of what will happen will be out of my hands.
“I’m just concentrating week by week, enjoying it while I can. The rest will take care of itself.”
TBR’s view – Celtic fans would love Forster permanently
Most Celtic supporters will be delighted Forster will be sticking around, and very keen to see him become a permanent Parkhead player once again.

He has been in fine form in 2019/20 so far and fans have been impressed with the authority and calmness he oozes between the sticks.
It may be a tall order for the Bhoys to sign him permanently next summer due to his £70,000-a-week wages (Spotrac), but if something can be worked out then that would be huge for Celtic.
