It was another frustrating old night for Tottenham as they once again threw points away, this time against West Ham United.
Despite going into an early lead through a Cristian Romero header, Spurs couldn’t make their early dominance count and eventually, the Hammers crept their way back into the game.
After equalising through Jarrod Bowen out of nowhere, West Ham then grew in strength and were the better side for much of the second 45, which saw James Ward-Prowse score yet again.
For Tottenham, there was more misery for their £60m forward Richarlison, who missed an absolutely golden chance from a Pedro Porro cross to get in on the scoring act.

The Brazilian directed a free header wide of the post from Porro’s superb centre and watching on for Amazon, Alan Shearer was far from impressed.
“Good cross, poor header. Just trying to glance it into that far corner. Climbs up really well but he just doesn’t get the connection that he wants. It should have been in the back of the net,” Shearer said.
Richarlison just cannot do it for Tottenham right now
The 26-year-old Brazilian has struggled ever since signing for Spurs and he is continuing to find things hard it seems.
Richarlison just cannot get going. Yes, he’s been injured and is working his way back but that chance tonight was the sort an international striker should be gobbling up.
Certainly, a player like Shearer would have stuck it away no problem and it just about summed up how things have gone at Tottenham for the striker.
Spurs are losing a lot of points at the moment and injuries aside, it’s not looking overly great.
Ange Postecoglou now faces a tough Christmas period and he’ll have to find a way of getting this team to win games with key players out. It’s that simple.
