Liverpool have announced that Allan Rodrigues de Souza, better known as Allan, will remain out on loan at Fluminense. The club’s official website confirmed that Allan has extended his loan deal at Fluminense until the end of the Brazilian season – 31st December.
Allan has played 10 games for Fluminense, exciting fans with his impressive central midfield performances. He will remain in Rio de Janeiro until the end of this calendar year.
The former Brazil U20 international joined Liverpool in 2015 after leaving Internacional. But he has still not received a work permit to make him eligible to play in England.

During his four-year stay with the Reds, Allan has had numerous loan spells. He has spent time in Finland (SJK), Belgium (Sint-Truiden), Germany (Hertha Berlin and Eintracht Frankfurt) and Cyprus (Apollon Limassol).
The 22-year-old has racked up a total of 67 appearances for those clubs while out on loan. And he will add to that tally when he returns to Fluminense.
But Liverpool fans are frustrated with a number of players leaving (Alberto Moreno, Daniel Sturridge, Marko Grujic, etc.) without any new players coming in.
Here are several tweets from Liverpool supporters who continued to vent their frustration at their lack of business and Allan’s struggle to obtain a work permit.
