Tottenham Hotspur are supposedly in pole position to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
L’Equipe reported at the weekend that Spurs have made a move for the French dynamo.
The 22-year-old has established himself as one of Europe’s hottest prospects after a fine season with the French outfit.

The box-to-box ace has some brilliant qualities – both physical and technical – and has been a real star for Bruno Genesio’s side.
Apparently a significant offer has been lodged by Tottenham, which has been approved by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Le10 Sport claim Spurs are leading the chase, but Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also in the hunt.
TBR’s view
Tottenham landing Ndombele would be a massive coup for the club – a real statement signing.
He is without doubt one of the most promising talents currently playing in Europe and whoever gets him will have a gem on their hands.

Were he to choose Tottenham then Pochettino could potentially turn him into a force of nature.
The South American’s track record for developing players is well known, and the potential of Ndombele is huge.
Arguably there is a good chance that Pochettino would be able to mould the dynamo into an even better player than former star Mousa Dembele, who was one of the most feared central midfielders in the Premier League during his pomp.
