Harry Winks is being lined up for a starting place in tomorrow’s Champions League final, according to a report by the Daily Mail.
Winks has been out since the end of April with a groin injury but the report says that Mauricio Pochettino is ready to throw him right back into the starting eleven against Liverpool in Madrid.
Meanwhile, the report says that the Argentine was going to make a final decision on talisman Harry Kane’s fitness this morning.
The three weeks between the end of the domestic season and the final have given Tottenham as much opportunity as possible to get players back from injury and they now have a fully fit squad to choose from.

But it’s a big ask to demand either man come straight back into the team and hit the ground running, in a game that is the biggest in the club’s history.
That’s the scale of the decision Pochettino has to take, but there’s no doubt that Winks would be better equipped than the likes of Victor Wanyama or Eric Dier to line up in midfield tomorrow – based on talent alone.
Keeping Kane on the bench might be the shrewd move but if Tottenham fall behind and their talisman is sat on the bench, it won’t be a good look.
They’re the tough decisions that managers must make and getting them right will be central to Tottenham’s hopes tomorrow night.
