Plenty of Leeds United fans want Bailey Peacock-Farrell man dropped after West Brom display

Leeds United have dropped to third in the incredibly tight Championship table after being soundly beaten by West Brom at The Hawthorns. The Baggies put in a stunning second-half display to score four unanswered foals before Pablo Hernandez’s late headed consolation left it 4-1.

Goals from Hal Robson-Kanu, Matty Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Dwight Gayle proved enough for the win.

After the game, Leeds fans were fairly disappointed with their side’s display. There were plenty of errors throughout the team and not many came out of this game with any real credit.

One man who bore the brunt of the fan’s annoyance was goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. The Northern Ireland international should have saved West Brom’s second goal and it is not the first time he has made a mistake this season.

The 22-year-old is far from the finished article but some Leeds fans now believe he never will be.

The fact is, Leeds also have a very good back-up keeper in their ranks. Jamal Blackman, who was the regular starter for Sheffield United last season, has been watching from the bench this term. The Chelsea loanee will no doubt want to get his chance and for many Leeds fans, it seems it is about time he did.
