Arsenal continue to be linked with Wilfried Zaha, who has hit the ground running in pre-season.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners have a lot of work to do on and off the pitch if they are to improve on a poor 2020-21.

And it looks as though the transfer saga involving Arsenal and Zaha will continue this summer as well.

90Min reported in April that the Emirates Stadium outfit had reignited their interest in the 28-year-old.

And earlier this month, The Times claimed that Zaha had informed Palace of his desire to leave this summer.

The club is reportedly willing to listen to offers above £35million for the Ivory Coast international.

On Saturday, Zaha reminded everyone of his class with the winner and a great display in the first half of the friendly against Walsall.

He forced an early save from Carl Rushworth and then threatened after a Jeff Schlupp through-ball.

Just before the break, he combined superbly with Rob Street before slotitng home from inside the box.

Zaha’s goal proved decisive as Palace held on for a 1-0 win at the Banks’s Stadium.
