‘Play him’: Arsenal fans react to Reiss Nelson training clip

Arsenal fans have been discussing Reiss Nelson on Twitter over the last 24 hours, after the Gunners’ social media team use a 17-second training clip to plug the youngster.

Nelson seems to have dipped away from proceedings in recent months despite a positive start to the season under Mikel Arteta.

The likes of Emile Smith Rowe have flourished, but Nelson, along with the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Folarin Balogun, find themselves in a frustrating position, while Joe Willock also went out on loan to Newcastle.

However, the club posted a video of Nelson in training on Twitter yesterday, showing some nice touches and finishes in front of goal.

Naturally, Arsenal fans were all over the footage in the comments, with mixed opinions as is the norm when it comes to any player.

But some Gunners fans do feel Nelson deserves a chance it seems. There was plenty of support for the young attacking midfielder, with some fans calling for Arteta to give the Arsenal starlet more chances.
