Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg believes Joe Hart’s commitment to anything he does is beyond compare.

The veteran goalkeeper joined Spurs on a free transfer last August, penning a two-year deal in north London.

Hart was a regular for Manchester City and England, with close to 350 competitive appearances for the Etihad side and 75 Three Lions caps.

The 34-year-old had a bad couple of years prior to joining Spurs and, although his role is that of back-up to Hugo Lloris, he has proven a very capable deputy.

Hart is also well loved in the dressing room, with the likes of Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko previously praising his attitude and character.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere deemed Hart the funniest player he knew from their time in the England setup.

Ahead of Sunday’s League Cup final, Spurs shared a video on their socials where Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty were asked a number of light-hearted questions about their teammates.

When asked who’d be best at karaoke, Hojbjerg replied: “I want to say Joe Hart, first of all because of his commitment.

“Whatever he goes into, his commitment is not to compare with. He might even go for some rock song, just go mental!”

Doherty said Hart is more into house music and joked that the goalkeeper would “be doing everything, he’ll have his top off, the lot” before Hojbjerg imagined that he’d “start beatboxing out of nowhere”.

TBR View:

Hart is undoubtedly a great goalkeeper who hasn’t had the rub of the green in recent years, but his arrival at Spurs has given the club one of the best goalkeeping selections in the league.

For a player to win two Premier League titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup during his career, not to mention being praised by the likes of Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta, it’s testament to his quality.

And it’s also great to hear that he’s the kind of player whose commitment is unmatched and that he’s so popular in the dressing room.
