Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has praised Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, describing the Senegal superstar as a player everyone would like in their team.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed a fantastic start to the 2020/21 campaign, scoring five goals and making four assists in 11 appearances so far.

The former Southampton man is once again proving his quality, and has arguably been Liverpool’s best player along with Mo Salah so far.
Mane is very much in the world-class bracket these days, and his fellow African Aubameyang has moved to shower him with praise.
The Gabon superstar told Senegalese paper Stades (relayed by WiwSport): “Sadio is the player of the Africans. He’s also the type of player every manager would like to have in their team. Like all African players in the Premier League, we tease each other, joke before and after each game.
“I have a lot of respect for him, because after what you see on social media and the news, he’s someone who’s done a lot for his native village.”
TBR’s View – Mane so deserving of respect
It is nice to see a player of such quality being acknowledged by another top-class star.

Mane is an absolutely brilliant footballer and, by all accounts, an amazing human being as well.
Without a shadow of a doubt, he is heading towards club legend status at Liverpool, and there are still plenty more chapters for him to write at Anfield.
