Tottenham are gearing up for their return to Premier League action this weekend, when they host Newcastle United.

Some of Antonio Conte’s more senior stars have still not returned to Spurs training after the international break.

That looks to have handed an opportunity to two of the club’s prospects to get involved.

20-year-old midfielder Jamie Bowden was pictured playing Teqball, against the likes of playmaker Lucas Moura.

18-year-old goalkeeper Isak Solburg is yet to make his senior debut but he was another called into the session by Antonio Conte.

Solberg joined Spurs after numerous trials from Norwegian side Byrne in 2019 and signed his first pro deal with the club in July 2020.

It seems he still has some way to go until making his senior bow, but the experience of training with the first team will stand him in good stead.

Tottenham need to be consistent in the final straight of the season as they chase that final Champions League spot for next season.

Arsenal are in the box seat but have some tricky fixtures ahead and Spurs need to keep Harry Kane and Heung-min Son fit and firing between now and the end of May.

Bowden and Solberg have a chance to impress Conte up close while others are away, and they will hope to take it.
