Tobi Omole, Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine were involved with the Tottenham Hotspur first-team’s training as they continue their preparations ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City this weekend.
Antonio Conte’s men desperately need a positive result. Spurs have now lost their last three in the Premier League. And there were particularly worrying signs last week as they conceded five goals in two games.

Unfortunately, the fixture list is not going easy on Tottenham. Their next opponents are the champions. And they have an opening day defeat to avenge.
It will be very interesting to see if Conte springs any selection surprises against City. Certainly, if any manager would be brave enough for those sorts of calls, it may be the Italian.
Interestingly, he has continued to include a number of young players in his training sessions. The latest pictures from Hotspur Way show the likes of Omole, Devine and Scarlett involved…

Tottenham fans will love seeing Omole, Scarlett and Devine involved
Of course, Tottenham fans will hope that Conte does not take too many gambles for the game against City. Spurs’ record against Pep Guardiola’s side in recent years is not terrible. And they will be desperate to prove a point after their disappointing run.
But the Tottenham fans would be delighted if the likes of Omole, Devine and Scarlett were used at some stage before the campaign concludes.
The two 17-year-olds in particular look to have amazing futures ahead. Jose Mourinho reportedly told Devine that he reminds him of Bruno Fernandes in private. Meanwhile, Nuno Espírito Santo suggested that Scarlett has a ‘lot of potential’. Mourinho claimed he could be ‘phenomenal‘.
This weekend may come too soon for the trio. But it is extremely encouraging that Conte has all three on his radar and wants them involved with first-team training.
