Young centre-back Zach Awe was one of the players called up to training with the Arsenal first-team ahead of their Europa League tie with Bodo/Glimt on Thursday.
The Gunners are looking to already put one foot in the knockout stages. Of course, it has been some time since they opened their campaign with a 2-1 win away against Zurich last month.
Mikel Arteta will surely be mindful of the fixtures Arsenal have coming up. Obviously, they top the Premier League table and face Liverpool in another massive game on Sunday.

With that, it would be no surprise to see the Gunners make a number of changes for Thursday’s tie against the Norwegian outfit.
Arsenal have a number of superb young players more than knocking on the door of Arteta. But there is also another talented crop coming through at London Colney.
And ahead of the clash with Bodo/Glimt, Arteta called Awe up to training with the senior side. There was also an opportunity for midfielder Matt Smith. But it is Awe who seems to tower over Fabio Vieira in the photo.
Awe is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gunners. He was named on the bench for the clash with Wolves in the Premier League last season. But the 18-year-old is still awaiting the chance to make his debut.
It would probably be a surprise if he featured this week. But he has been a regular fixture for the under-21s, starting every game in Premier League 2 this season.
Arsenal’s youngsters have not lost in the league so far this term. And Awe is a talented, ball-playing centre-back. So he deserves the chance to work up close with Arteta.
Certainly, it will be something that Arteta keeps in mind should Arsenal qualify from their group with games to spare.
