Tottenham Hotspur went from zeroes to heroes on Tuesday night as they reached the last 16 of the Champions League.
Spurs, without the suspended Antonio Conte, were lacklustre in the first half against Marseille and conceded on the stroke of half-time.
Chancel Mbemba opened the scoring for Marseille with a powerful header past Hugo Lloris after the Spurs defence was caught napping.

However, Tottenham equalised in the 54th minute, Clement Lenglet glancing Ivan Perisic’s deep free kick in at the far post.
What followed was an anxious period as both sides desperately searched for a winner.
But in the end, Spurs did enough not only to get over the line, but to top Group D altogether.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was the hero for Tottenham, rifling in off the post in the fifth minute of injury time.
Son injury
The first half also saw one of Spurs’ stars suffer a blow which forced him to come off.
Son Heung-min was substituted on 29 minutes after colliding with Chancel Mbemba when challenging for a header.
The South Korea international won the 50/50 duel but came off worse and looked in serious discomfort as he received lengthy medical attention.
Son, who had taken a shoulder to the jaw, eventually rose to his feet, but the Tottenham physios were unwilling to let him continue after concussion checks.
More worryingly, the 30-year-old appeared to struggle walking off the pitch and was assisted by Spurs’ medical team.

But at full-time, Son was in the front row of the Tottenham squad picture in the dressing room.
Hojbjerg shared the photo on his Instagram account.
It’s reassuring to see Son in the picture and not looking visibly injured, and soon enough we should get updates on his condition from the Spurs coaches and/or media team.
