It’s a sad day for Tottenham fans who hold Tanguy Ndombele close to their heart, amid talk the Frenchman has asked to leave Spurs.
That news came from the ever reliable Jack Pitt-Brooke, who shared the significant update in his report for The Athletic.
In light of this news, you may have expected to see Ndombele moping around Hotspur Way in a bad mood, as he wants out.
However, training photos which have emerged today shows Tottenham’s club-record £53.8m signing displaying a completely different emotion.
You can see the photo below.

As you can see, Ndombele looks to be in high spirits alongside Heung-min Son.
In truth, the South Korean’s positivity is infectious, so the Tottenham photographers may just have caught the Frenchman at a good time!
In all seriousness, we’re sure Ndombele isn’t really moping around N17 kicking up a fuss – he seems genuine enough to not let his own desires impact on Nuno Espirito Santo’s group.

Having said that, it’s a real issue for Nuno to have a club-record signing wanting to leave.
With just days remaining in the transfer window, it will be interesting to see if Fabio Paratici can find a buyer for the wantaway midfielder.
