Arsenal face Wolves in their final fixture before the World Cup break and Mikel Arteta has been putting his players through their paces.
The Gunners currently sit top of the pile in the Premier League. The main reason for that has been the exceptional form of the first-team players selected.
However, it’s also clear that Arteta has got training down to a tee as well. And with that, he’s been including some of the Hale End Academy’s best young players in certain sessions. It’s something Arteta seems to do a lot, and this week seems to have given an opportunity to young midfielder, Jack Henry-Francis.
Spotted in the image below released on Getty Images of Arsenal’s training session yesterday, Taylor-Francis can be seen looking on at Granit Xhaka battling with another Arsenal youngster, Lino Sousa.

Of course, Henry-Francis has been in and around the first-team before. Indeed, he seems to have spent the full week in training this week as he was also spotted ahead of the cup clash with Brighton.
It seems, then, that Arteta is more than happy to include Henry-Francis.
TBR’s View: Arsenal training is good news for Jack Henry-Francis
We saw earlier in the season with Ethan Nwaneri how Mikel Arteta isn’t afraid to go with a young player if he feels it’s right at that time. And it seems he’s very much invested in the younger players getting involved at first-team level.
For players like Henry-Francis, this is exactly what you need to be seeing. It shows the Irish youngster that the pathway exists.
Henry-Francis, described as an ‘aggressive and tenacious’ midfielder on Arsenal’s website, could well be one of the next to come off the production line at London Colney.
