A worrying photo has emerged on social media showing Ben Davies wearing a protective boot around his left leg at the end of Tottenham Hotspur’s tour of South Korea.
Antonio Conte had previously noted that Davies had picked up a slight injury as Spurs drew with Sevilla in the second of their games in Asia.

The Italian did suggest that he hoped that the injury was not serious. However, it appears that Tottenham have been given reason for concern.

Tottenham losing Ben Davies to any serious injury would be big blow
Obviously, Tottenham fans will be wary of jumping to conclusions. It would be little surprise if the injury was indeed not too bad, and the club were simply taking precautions.
Davies has been a crucial player for Tottenham since Conte arrived at the club late last year. In fact, Conte seems to have almost transformed the Welshman’s career.
Davies has always been a very good servant for Spurs. But it is surely fair to say that few supporters would have imagined that he would become so important following Conte’s arrival – particularly as a centre-back.
The Spurs boss described his season as ‘amazing‘.
However, there is now less pressure on Davies to make a swift return. Tottenham have signed Clement Lenglet on loan from Barcelona. And the Frenchman has been bought in to predominantly strengthen their options on the left of the back three.
Tottenham supporters will hope for an update on Davies’ condition in the near future. Clearly, it would be a big setback to lose him for any significant period of time over the coming weeks.
