Liverpool will get a break from their wavering Premier League campaign when they host Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Reds are now seven points adrift of the top four after losing 3-1 to Brentford last time out.
In addition, Liverpool will also be without defender Virgil van Dijk for “more than a month”, according to Jurgen Klopp.
Saturday night sees the Reds get their FA Cup defence off against a Wolves outfit struggling in the relegation zone.
Klopp has never shied away from playing academy talents in the cup competitions.
And in Liverpool’s latest training pictures, several youngsters were spotted taking part in the session.
One of those was Luke Chambers, one of the top talents in the Reds’ Under-21s.

The 18-year-old is a left-back who can also play at centre-back.
‘This kid impresses me a lot’
This season, Chambers has featured 13 times at left-back, registering three goals and three assists.
He has also covered at centre-back four times, and has once played at left wing, as per Transfermarkt.
Chambers has made a name for himself in recent months, penning a new contract last summer.
During pre-season, Klopp told LFCTV, via This Is Anfield: “When I look at Luke Chambers I think ‘wow, he has everything for a centre half, apart from a body’,”
Chambers, speaking to Liverpoolfc.com a few months later, lauded the confidence boost Klopp gave him.
“If they want to put me at left centre-back or left-back, I think I can do a job there,” he added.
“I think it gives you more opportunities if you have more positions that you can play.
“At left centre-back and left-back, I think I can do them both really comfortably.”
Chambers has also earned praise from fellow defender Kostas Tsimikas during the pre-season tour of Asia.
“This kid impresses me a lot,” Tsimikas told Liverpoolfc.com about the 18-year-old.
“He’s a very, very good player and always very focused in the training.”

Chambers joined the Liverpool academy aged six and often captained the Under-18s last season.
He then earned promotion to the Under-21s this summer.
‘He ended the 2021-22 campaign with nine goals, with many coming from the penalty spot as a set-piece specialist,’ wrote the Liverpool website.
Chambers has made two Liverpool first-team matchday squads, but is yet to make his senior debut.
Could this weekend see the talented teenager get his first senior Reds appearance on board?
