Both Gnabry and Bellerin joined the Gunners as teenagers all the way back in 2011. They were viewed as the future of Arsenal, but neither player really fulfilled the massive potential they showed as youngsters at the Emirates.
However, both of them are at huge clubs now.

Even though Bellerin and Gnabry joined Arsenal in the same year, their careers unfolded very differently.
Once the Spaniard made his debut for the Gunners, he instantly became a star. He was a fan favourite at the Emirates, with many even branding him as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League.
However, injuries really derailed his confidence and he didn’t want to stay at Arsenal anymore. He spent the whole of last season on loan at Real Betis, and this summer, he secured a move to Barcelona on a free transfer.
Gnabry, on the other hand, didn’t quite follow Bellerin to the first team. He barely got any opportunities at Arsenal, and after a failed loan spell at West Brom, he decided to leave the club to join Werder Bremen.
Since that happened, Gnabry’s fortunes changed. The German secured a move to Bayern Munich just a year after he left Arsenal, and he has been one of the best wingers in the world over the last few years.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich faced each other in the Champions League last night, and just before the game, the two rapid old Arsenal boys caught up and spent a few minutes chatting with each other.
Edu wanted to re-sign Gnabry this summer
For a long time this summer, it seemed like Gnabry would be available for a transfer having entered the final year of his contract at Bayern Munich.
However, that move did not materialise, and Gnabry signed a new long-term contract at Bayern until the summer of 2026.
That should be that with respect to Arsenal’s chances of bringing Gnabry back to the club.
