Tottenham Hotspur are in superb form going into Saturday’s late Premier League kickoff at Aston Villa

Spurs have won their last three league games and hammered Newcastle 5-1 at N17 last time out.

Tottenham now sit fourth in the Premier League table with eight games to go in the 2021-22 campaign.

Up next, Antonio Conte’s charges take on a dangerous Villa side that has stumbled in recent weeks.

Steven Gerrard’s charges have lost their last three league games.

However, they won three in a row before then and have dangerous players that Spurs will need to watch out for.

On Thursday, Tottenham shared images of their senior players in training at Hotspur Way.

Among them was Jamie Bowden, one of the most promising youngsters in the Spurs academy.

The 20-year-old is a defensive midfielder by trade but has also played at centre-back and central midfield.

Bowden spent the first half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Oldham, making 25 appearances.

Tottenham subsequently recalled him in January with the intention to loan him to a club above League Two.

However, Bowden ended up staying put at Spurs, making the bench against Newcastle last time out.

The Latics described him as a “midfielder with an abundance of technical ability”.

And in 2018, Superhotspur deemed Bowden “the perfect Pochettino player who ticks so many boxes”.

The Spurs fan site compared him to Oliver Skipp, who is still on the sidelines with a groin injury.

Bowden is yet to make his senior Tottenham debut – could he get the chance before the end of the season?
