Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte has been putting his players through their paces ahead of Monday’s Premier League meeting with Everton.

Spurs’ form has been mixed in recent weeks, to put it mildly.

Tottenham recently beat Manchester City in a dramatic five-goal thriller and hammered Leeds 4-0.

Spurs have also lost to Burnley and gone out of the FA Cup at the hands of Championship Middlesbrough.

Tottenham aren’t too far off the pace for a European finish, with the top four just five points away.

Nonetheless, Conte will surely be casting an eye to next season with a view to getting Spurs back to the levels of a few years ago.

While Tottenham are likely to go big in the transfer market, the manager could also look at how some of his academy talents are doing.

On Friday, Spurs published photos of their first team in training at Hotspur Way, and one of the club’s Under-18s was taking part in the session.

Rio Kyerematen has been in great form for Tottenham’s Under-18s this season.

He has four goals and two assists from 14 Under-18 Premier League 2 appearances.

It’s a decent goal tally – even more so considering he mostly plays in midfield

More impressively still, Kyerematen is just 16 years old – and already looking a cut above for the U18s.

The 2020-21 season saw him contribute eight goals and five assists for our Under-16s.

He also stepped up to make his debut for the Under-18s in a 3-0 victory at Southampton in April, 2021.

The way Kyerematen is going, he’ll surely be in the Under-23s next season.

It’s great to see Conte calling him up to training with the first team, where he’ll pick up valuable experience and tips.
