However, they’ll be up against a Seagulls outfit also in good form.

The visitors have won their last two top-flight matches, scoring seven goals along the way.

Arsenal enter at this stage of the competition, while Brighton beat Forest Green Rovers 3-0 to reach the third round.

On Tuesday, the Gunners media team shared photos of their latest training session at London Colney.

Several youth team stars took part in the session, including a versatile forward deemed “fast and skilful”.

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji came through the ranks at Hale End and signed his first professional contract in 2021.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fruitful season so far for the Under-21s.

Butler-Oyedeji has made 11 Premier League 2 outings, registering two goal contributions.

He also has an impressive three goals and one assist from three EFL Trophy outings.

“Capable of linking up play effectively”

Arsenal’s official website have lauded Butler-Oyedeji’s pace and dribbling ability.

Meanwhile, Gunners youth team expert Jeorge Bird has described him as a “fast and skilful” player and a “speedy” winger who can also play up front.

“Butler-Oyedeji struggled with injuries at times as a scholar but is capable of linking play effectively,” he added.

It’s great to see the Arsenal boss call up another top Hale End talent to first-team training.

Butler-Oyedeji is yet to make his Gunners debut – could tonight see him feature?
