Devine did not go on the pre-season tour to South Korea, because he and Dane Scarlett were afforded further time off following their success in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with England.
But Conte clearly wants to work closely with the 17-year-old prospect, and has him training with his main first team group this week.
The Athletic recently reported that Conte is a big fan of the 17-year-old; the Italian and his coaching staff see something special in the youngster.

It has also been reported that Tottenham plan to loan Devine ahead of this coming season.
But the EFL campaign kicks off this weekend and they have not yet picked the right move, with Conte getting a close look at him first.
The Athletic also reported that talks over a new contract are expected to start soon as his current terms expire in the summer of 2024.
The image below shows Devine in first team training ahead of the friendly clash with Jose Mourinho’s Roma this weekend.
It remains to be seen the level that Devine goes in at if he departs the club on loan, although the prospect of him sticking around cannot be ruled out.
Oliver Skipp was sensational in the Championship with Norwich, but Troy Parrott went in at that level with Millwall, and struggled before finding his feet in League 1 with MK Dons last term.
Before that, the teenager has the chance to impress Conte once again, and show that he is capable of something special in his career.
