Kane has been given time off after missing a penalty as England went out of the World Cup with a 2-1 at the hands of eventual finalists France.
But it has always been expected that he would be back to face Brentford on Boxing Day when the Premier League finally resumes.
And he has now been pictured back on the training ground with his Spurs teammates as they prepare for that London derby.
Kane back in Tottenham training
Kane will be looking to get back on scoring form as soon as he possibly can to get over his England disappointment in the best way possible.
Spurs have injuries in attack so Kane’s contribution will be just as vital as ever, with little time for him to find his feet again.
Brentford may well face a wounded animal on Boxing Day, with Spurs looking for some consistency and flow to their football.
They were frequently slow starters before the season paused and Conte will likely be looking to change that in the second part of the campaign.
Kane’s form will be crucial to any hopes of success Spurs have and if he suffers a World Cup hangover, the whole team will suffer.
But his mentality is great, one of the best in English football, and you would expect him to be back to his very best before long.
