Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal this evening in the EFL Cup. Mauricio Pochettino’s men will be looking for some North London redemption, following defeat at The Emirates earlier this month.
However, this being the EFL Cup, there may be a lack of first-team regulars in action. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has already confirmed Paulo Gazzaniga will start the game, so there is a chance for back-up players to feature.
Judging by the photos from Tottenham Hotspur first-team training, one youngster may also be hoping to get his opportunity.
Timothy ‘TJ’ Eyoma has been training with the first team this week and will no doubt be hoping to make his Tottenham debut.

The 18-year-old defender can play in a number of defensive positions and is an England under-19 international.
His apparent emergence comes at a good time. Juan Foyth and Davinson Sanchez are only just recovering from injury, Jan Vertonghen is out until January and Eric Dier has just had his appendix removed. It leaves just Toby Aldererweireld as a recognised centre-back option, with Ben Davies playing in the role against Burnley at the weekend.
Eyoma could, therefore, be handed his Tottenham debut over the course of the next week and Spurs fans will hope he can be a future first0team star.
