Kalvin Phillips says the Leeds fans stuck with their side against Watford on Saturday, even when the game wasn’t going to plan.
The Whites won 3-0 at Vicarage Road, getting a result which all but secures their safety in the Premier League for another season.
Jesse Marsch also got the first clean sheet of his reign as the game panned out almost perfectly for his side on the day.

Kalvin Phillips admitted in an interview with Leeds’ official website that the game did not always go to plan initially, but praised the support of the fans through those periods.
“The fans always travel in force and we always want to put on a show every time we play away from home and do our best,” he said.
“I thought the fans were amazing for the full 90 minutes, even when the game wasn’t going as well as what it could have been.”

It is no secret that Leeds fans took Marcelo Bielsa to their hearts and it was hard for Marsch coming in with that backdrop.
But he has got them onside with the results he has secured, which look set to earn another season in the top flight.
Up next is an important summer where the squad needs to be bolstered and a new approach evolved to make Leeds tougher to play against while maintaining their attacking threat.
