Phil Foden has been lavished with praise from Manchester City fans after being nominated for two PFA awards.

The England international is a nominee for both the PFA Player and Young Player of the Season award. Foden had a sensational season for City, with the winger scoring 16 goals and assisting a further ten in all competitions.

A season to remember for Phil Foden

Indeed, City stormed their way to the Premier League title. Four players from Pep Guardiola’s side made it to the shortlist for PFA Player of the Year.

Joining Foden on the shortlist from City include Kevin De Bruyne, Ruben Dias and Ilkay Gundogan.

The 20-year-old attacker is one of the early favourites to win Young Player of the Year. Indeed, Foden was key to City’s league and League Cup double this campaign.
